carnivorous plants should be having an 'idea' of 'the space around them' and be able to tell when some living insects come within the space they control; i have little idea of how they perceive 'the space around them' : i wouldn't be surprised to learn if they have something to teach us here: fortunately, i found some botany books in my collection which i promise myself, i will read; may God guide me through the books at fast or slow pace best suited for the enterprise;

Re: Mahayana Buddhism - your criticism valid i feel;but ...
<.the full letter is included here.>
Dear Jacob:
i see your point about my article "Mahayana Buddhism" --- i am making statements without giving any reasons why i think so; i am more anxious to put my ideas across than convince anybody about them; i couldn't help it: there is too much of a gulf between what i want to say and what is generally accepted --- so i decided against bridging the gap: only concentrating on what i want to say leaving it to chance and readers' compassion to determine how it is perceived by the readers; this is also the reason why there are no citations at the end of my article; i requested my CUSAT friend Dr Santhosh Kumar to submit the article "Mahayana Buddhism" on my behalf (.because i couldn't meet all their needs such as URL which i don't have.) to Current Science published from Bengaluru (.new accepted spelling for Bangalore, if i am right.); i am copying out the letter to Current Science below for you to read understandingly and compassionately (.as i request you to.):
