Re: atma --- 'self-referential | recursive' thought --- TWO ;;; COVERING letter;;;
... you are physics MSc ... please read and tell me what you perceive ... philosophy is common sense ... it is crucial for me to know what others see in what i write ... the you-tube has a lot of accessible material on Schrodinger's wave equation ... best wishes on the occasion of Devali/Deepavali for your whole family ... i regret i made my phone call to you to be too brief ,,, i was afraid of taking too much of your time ,,, help me eventually to submit my own articles to the physics- <.& perhaps computer science-.> professional journals by myself ... the steps seem elaborate ... please guide me though them ...
Dear Santhosh:
happy Devali/Deepavali to your whole family ::: i suppose Sandralaya Srutilaya and Swararag are complying with the current restriction on the use of Fire Crackers;;;
i was very glad to be in touch with you by the phone/mobile call;;; i regret i made my phone call to you to be too brief;;; my basic need for communication with you is to convey my request to you to critically read the passage i am requesting you to submit to Science Today (.and perhaps to Current Science if Science Today doesn't accept it.) ,,, while you help me with processes of sending it to Science Today as a letter to the Editor;;; please don't let the feeling that it it is <.high.> philosophy and that you do not feel comfortable with it over take you;;; i don't regard it as esoteric {.dic_ esoteric adj intended for or understood by only a few people with specialized knowledge.} material ::: in fact, i want to reach as many common people as possible;;; i wonder however how Science today will perceive it;;; if they want me to recast it in any way i will do so;;; the fundamental point i am making in this letter is that the canvas on which is painted reality is not Space-Time but Brahman;;; i feel that it permits us to see reality (.for instance of electron and positron.) as embedded in Brahman, which India has long recognized as underlying reality, and not in Space-Time as Physics seems to conceive ::: Space-Time itself is in Brahman, if i may be permitted to assert;;; India doesn't take the problem of describing what Brahman is too lightly ::: in fact Ramakrishna Paramhansa has said one given to reason goes through the process of conceiving reality as 'not this , not this' but ultimately realizes it in Samadhi;;; Brahman is the object or subject of meditation 'that thvam asi' (.that though art <.on us.>.) ::: Brahman is not an object in Space-Time;;; rather, all objects including Space-Time are {.| may be conceived as.} contained in Brahman;;; i am yet to read the physics of electrons and positrons carefully ::: i am glad to find you-tube has a lot of material on the subject ::: please do help me in the matter as only you can;;;
please take your time and help me go through the process of qualifying to submit articles by myself to the physics- <.& perhaps computer science-.> professional journals;;; i hope retired people also can submit articles to professional journals;;;
best wishes on the occasion of Devali/Deepavali (.=Devali/Deepavali =.) to Sandralaya Srutilaya and Swararag;;;
thanking you ...
Sincerely
(.Krishna Rao PUTCHA.)
Re: meaning of 'KNOWLEDGE' ;;;
Q: where is the important note on 'KNOWLEDGE' ? 'KNOWLEDGE' is not all the information in the libraries of the world or in scientists heads;;; the closest Concise Oxford English Dictionary comes to the essential meaning of knowledge from the point of view of Indian Philosophy, is 'understanding' ;;;
Re: atma --- 'self-referential | recursive' thought --- TWO ;;;
Brahman = atma ;;;
Brahman is known to be vast and all-inclusive ::: and, that is why it includes atma, which is also vast and inclusive ;;; in fact Brahman = atma ;;;
