Kerala's First Grand Master
Submitted by sancochin on Mon, 09/03/2007 - 11:11pm.G.N. Gopal, 18 year old talented became India's latest and Kerala's first Grand Master. He is now in the elite group of 64-square game wizards which includes Viswanathan Anand, P. Harikrishna and Koneru Humpy.
He has succesfully met all the three GM norms ( 10 Game norm, 9 game all-pla-all norm and 9 game GM norm) to become a Grand Master this week.
